Progressive Hydraulics, Inc. participated in New Jersey Business & Industry Association’s (NJBIA) Healthy Business Certification Program to ensure our team and customers stayed healthy and safe at our NJ ParkerStore™ locations in Saddle Brook, East Hanover and South Plainfield during these challenging times.
Turns out our proactive approach to operating safely wasn’t just a commitment to providing a healthy work environment based on best practices, it’s now a requirement by the State of New Jersey – the first government mandate of its kind for private businesses in the U.S.
On October 28th, Governor Phil Murphy recently signed executive order #192 and will take effect November 5th, which requires “both private and public sector employers to follow health and safety protocols that will serve to protect their in-person workforces.”
The federal government has failed to provide all workers the proper standards and protections that they deserve. Today’s executive order closes that gap to help ensure the health and safety of our workforce during this unprecedented time.

Implementing an Infectious Disease Prevention program with established procedures and protocols designated by CDC, WHO and OSHA standards enables PHI to ease any customer anxiety while shopping at ParkerStore™ locations or visiting our office during the pandemic and build confidence for the Public.
Not only has PHI enforced standard safe practices like social distancing and wearing masks since the very beginning, but we have also taken additional measures like installing UV lights for our HVAC system at the Saddle Brook, NJ office to filter the air and keep it clean.
In addition, Progressive Hydraulics will take the necessary steps to be a certified Healthy Business site at our ParkerStore™ locations in NY (Ronkonkoma and Westbury) and Stratford, CT to further our commitment to safe and healthy environments for our employees and customers.
